The items in the jungle will undergo significant alterations in the 2023 preseason, according to League of Legends devs
For the upcoming preseason, the jungle has received a lot of attention from LoL programmers, both in terms of availability and expertise.
The jungle appears to be headed for a significant makeover, with the introduction of pets, new leash laws, and improved communication that will enable junglers to better communicate their pathing priorities to their teammates.

A purpose of the preseason adjustments, according to the post, is to “get them to explain the difference between culling cool camps and cultivating dull minions.”
Old jungle artefacts like Wriggle’s Lantern and Spirit of the Elder Lizard are mentioned in the essay as examples of the kinds of impacts that they want the items to convey. The creators took care to note that they were aware of the drawbacks that those earlier jungle things possessed.
By giving the new jungle pets their distinctive personality, they will try to learn from them.
Additionally, changes are being made to the camps’ leash system, notably the range and reset regulations.
