To ease fans’ worry, Kiku Sharda, a prominent cast member, clarified that the wrap was merely temporary and announced that a second season is already in the works. While there will be episode 7 in season 1, season 2 will release soon but its release date isn’t known yet.

“The Great Indian Kapil Show” debuted on Netflix on March 30, and has so far featured a star-studded lineup of guests including Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky and Sunny Kaushal, Neetu Singh, and others.

Kiku Sharda revealed in a recent interview, “We have finished 13 episodes, and the second season will arrive soon. The wrap-up is temporary; we have already planned for Season 2 and it will be back shortly. There won’t be a significant gap.”
He added, “It’s about exploring different formats. Television shows tend to run longer, but with streaming platforms, shorter seasons can be just as engaging.”

Currently, the show’s sixth episode, featuring Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, is available for streaming.
The complete Season 1 consists of 13 episodes, with notable guests like Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Diljit Dosanjh, and cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer.
