In the Thomas Cup final, Chinese ace Shi Yuqi established the tempo, defeating Anthony Ginting in straight games (21-17, 21-6). Despite a fiercely contested first men’s doubles match, China’s Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang emerged victorious 21-18, 17-21, 21-17 against Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto, extending the lead to 2-0.
Jonatan Christie ignited a glimmer of hope for Indonesia by triumphing 21-16, 15-21, 21-17 against Li Shi Feng in the second singles match. Following suit, in the second doubles match, He Jiting and Ren Xiangyu showcased a masterclass performance, sealing a resounding 21-11, 21-15 victory over Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Bagas Maulana, thereby securing the Thomas Cup crown for China.

2024 Thomas & Uber Cup: prize money and final rankings
As per BWF reports, the Thomas and Uber Cup 2024 will each have a net prize pool worth $1 million. From this pool, winners China will earn the highest payout.
The winnings of the event for this edition is $1 million both for the singles and doubles matches and the victorious side will be awarded 8% of the total prize money. Both the singles and doubles winners will pick up a cheque of $120K each.
