US teacher Madison Bergmann is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with one of her 11-year-old students, leading to charges of s*xual assault.
Madison Bergmann’s fiancé, Sam Hickman called off the wedding shortly after she was placed under arrest. According to sources, Bergmann and Hickman’s wedding was called off after it was revealed that she had an affair. Both of them were set to get married in July 2024.

Sam’s friend said, “It’s been indefinitely postponed. And it probably won’t happen. Sam is really upset and heartbroken.”
24 year old Madison Bergmann is a resident of St. Paul, Minnesota resident who is currently on leave from her position of a teacher at River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, Wisconsin. She is charged with a class B felony that carries a potential 60-year prison sentence if found guilty.
When the victim’s parents learned of their child’s interactions with Madison Bergmann, she was taken into custody. After informing River Crest Elementary School, the boy’s father started an investigation.
Intimate mails from Bergmann described their behaviour in the classroom over lunch or after school in the texts. Police also reportedly found a folder in the victim’s purse with her name on it and handwritten notes about how often they kissed, according to the New York Post.
The assault duration is yet unknown, but the accused told detectives that she got the boy’s number from his mother in December when the family asked her to come to the Afton Alps for winter vacation.

Bergmann’s teaching job was suspended after her apprehension. Bergmann is not allowed to speak with any staff members, parents, or kids in the Hudson School District. She is also prohibited from going to any school-related events or entering district property. One count of first-degree child s*xual assault is brought against Bergmann. After posting a $25,000 signature bond, she was released.
The school is yet to release any statement on this matter. The parents want strict action against Madison.
