He was a part of the accident that resulted in Pavitra’s death and was deeply affected by her sudden passing.
Pavitra Jayaram was killed in a road accident on Sunday, May 12, in Hyderabad when her car and a bus collided. According to reports, Chandrakanth, Srikant, the driver, and Pavithra’s sister Apeksha were with her at the time of the accident. The loss of Pavithra devastated Chandrakanth, who shared his sorrow with poignant tributes to his “Trinayani” co-star. There have been allegations that he is dating Pavithra, and his last Instagram message was a heartfelt ode to her.

Shilpa revealed that Chandrakant committed suicide due to his relationship with Pavithra, who had a history of several relationships. She further disclosed that, after Pavithra’s passing, Chandrakant was battling depression and had even tried self-harm.
Even Chandrakant’s father confirmed the news and revealed how their family had been divided for five years because of his son’s extramarital relationship with Pavitra. He revealed that Chandrakant had tried to get in touch with them after Pavitra’s passing, but his efforts had been in vain.
