A married school teacher, Connor McCullough from Northern Ireland is making headlines after reports emerged on social media suggesting that he has been accused of having a five-month-long affair with a student
Reports indicate that the gravity of the situation led authorities to bring the case to court. The teacher implicated in the incident has been named as Connor McCullough.
McCullough, a married teacher from Londonberry County with three children, is said to have had a relationship with a student from May through September 2023.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Connor McCullough is a Lecturer in sport at the Northern Regional College. He joined the college in November 2014 and has been working there for more than 9 years.
McCullough completed his Bachelor’s degree in BA sports development and coaching from 2006 to 2010 from the Letterkenny Institute of Technology with 1:1 grade point.
In addition, the accused father also completed a Master’s degree in MA sports and exercise psychology in 2012 from Waterford Institute of Technology with a 2:1 grade point.
He has also attended Ulster University for PGCE education from 2015 to 2017, which he completed with distinction.
What Did Court Documents Reveal?
According to various reports, the official court documents of McCullough’s case revealed that “Father of three Connor McCullough is charged with s*xual activity with a child and inciting s*xual activity with a child between May 1 and September 30 last year, both offenses allegedly committed while he was in a position of trust.”
In addition, as per media reports, McCullough is suspected of attempting to unlawfully take a student on a trip to Thailand.

If the man is found guilty based on the charges in the indictment, he might face a prison sentence of up to 7 years. However, if he holds a position of authority, the maximum possible penalty could be as high as 15 years.
