A popular Indian TV actress, Surbhi Chandna, has become the subject of online criticism and trolling after she posted an online video with her husband with many confusing her with Dhanashree Verma
For the unfamiliar, the 34-year-old actress Surbhi Chandna who primarily works in Hindi television got married to Karan Sharma in March 2024.
The ‘Sherdil Shergill’ actress is relishing her new life as a wife. Known for her significant online following, Surbhi enjoys creating reels and videos.

In one of her recent posts, she’s seen having a great time in a swimming pool with her husband, Karan. Given the intense heat, a swim seemed like the perfect way to cool off.
However, it didn’t seem to go well with some people online as social media users confused Surbhi with Dhanashree Verma, the wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, and started trolling her.

One such confused user took to social media platform X and wrote, “Marry an influencer nd see your bloodline going to waste, you going into depression, your reputation of being a cucc, while she enjoys all the luxuries of life everyday with a new man.”
Another one joined, “Ye Dhanshree hai kya [Is she Dhanshree, referring to Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife].” A third one penned, “Look Like Dhanshree Bhabhi,” with a few broken heart emojis.
A fourth fan took the matter a little seriously as he went on to tag Yuzvendra Chahal he wrote, “I am very sorry for tagging you, but this is what if you marry an influencer. How could someone do it.”
This misunderstanding came not long after Dhanashree faced criticism over a photo where Pratik Utekar was giving her a back hug. Despite no obvious connection between the two situations, the trolls drew Yuzvendra Chahal into the controversy yet once again.
Let us remind you, that Surbhi and Karan’s wedding took place in Rajasthan, while Yuzvendra Chahal recently achieved 200 wickets in the IPL, receiving a congratulatory post from his wife, Dhanashree.
