Milind Kumar is an Indian cricketer who was born on February 15, 1991 in Delhi, India.
A look ar Milind Kumar’s career so far
Milind participated in domestic cricket for both Delhi and Sikkim. Prior to the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, he was drafted from Delhi to Sikkim. He finished as the Ranji Trophy’s top scorer for the 2018–19 season with 1331 runs.
He took part in 46 first-class (2988 runs), 65 List-A (2023 runs), and 61 T20 (1196 runs) matches in the BCCI domestic cricket competition. He was involved in the squad for the 2019–20 Duleep Trophy for the India Green team in August 2019.
Milind concluded with 1331 runs to lead Sikkim in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy season, before making his Minor Cricket League debut in the US in 2021 with The Philadelphians.
He never had the opportunity to make his league debut in the Indian Premier League, despite playing for the Delhi Daredevils (now the Delhi Capitals) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He was brought by the Delhi Daredevils for INR 10 Lakh at the IPL Season 7 Auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore paid his base fee of 20 lakhs to acquire him in the IPL12 (2019).
The players’ draft resulted in his selection to participate in the US Minor League Cricket season in June of 2021. In June 2023, Kumar was chosen by the Texas Super Kings in the fourth round of the draft to play in the inaugural season of Major League Cricket.
Talking about his international career, in March 2024, the 33-year-old was selected to play for the United States against Canada in the Twenty20 International (T20I) series. Additionally, he made his USA T20I debut against Canada on April 7, 2024.
