Release Date for the Life is Strange Arcadia Bay Collection
On September 27, 2022, Square Enix will release the Switch remake of Life is Strange.
SQUARE ENIX STORE (PHYSICAL): £34.99/$39.99
Although Nintendo Switch eShop pricing hasn’t been announced, we anticipate it to be comparable to the price of the physical edition.
At the time of writing, the physical edition is available for the same price as every current online retailer.
The story components that contributed to the games’ success are still present, but both titles now have enhanced and optimised visuals for characters and landscapes.
The original Life is Strange game now includes facial motion capture as well.
In addition, the game engine has been optimised, and the lighting has received additional improvements.
There will also contain all previously published deluxe content, including the “Farewell” bonus episode and character cosmetics.
Nintendo Switch porting typically takes a little longer to give creators time to optimise games for the now-outdated hardware of the platforms.
Understandably, the Switch port of this collection experienced a major delay given the epidemic.
Let’s hope the collection benefits from the Nintendo Switch optimizations.
Three years have passed since the first game in the BAFTA-winning franchise’s Life is Strange: Before the Storm, which is a three-part, stand-alone adventure.
You take on the role of sixteen-year-old Chloe Price, who befriends Rachel Amber, a popular and attractive young woman who is destined for success.
It is Rachel’s newfound relationship with Chloe that gives her the courage to keep on when she learns a family secret that might potentially shatter her entire existence.
The girls must face each other’s demons to conquer them since they are no longer on their own.
Remember, especially if this is your first time around, do yourself a favour and play this one after you finish Life is Strange.
It will increase the impact of this expansion.
