The highly anticipated Team of the Year (TOTY) event is returning in EA FC 25, offering players the exciting opportunity to vote for the standout performers of 2024. Among all the events in the Ultimate Team promo calendar, few hold as much prestige and excitement as TOTY. This campaign allows players to have their say on who the best players have been over the past year, rewarding them with powerful TOTY cards.

EA FC 25 TOTY how to vote online, start and end date, release time, nominees list, predictions and card design details
To participate, players can head to the official EA FC 25 TOTY website once voting opens. They will find nominees for both the men’s and women’s teams, listed by position. Players select the players they wish to vote for and add them to the starting XI of either squad. Once they are happy with their selections, they confirm their vote. Afterward, all they need to do is wait for the official TOTY announcement, which will take place in the near future.
The TOTY promo is set to start in-game on Friday, January 17, lasting two weeks until Friday, January 1 and as well as the TOTY squads, a TOTY Honourable Mentions squad and two TOTY Icons squads will also be released.

Both TOTY votes will close on Monday, January 13 at 7:59am GMT / 2:59am EST and Sunday, January 12 at 11:59pm PST, with the TOTY squads being revealed from Wednesday, January 15.
While the official release date for the EA FC 25 TOTY cards has yet to be confirmed, leaks suggest that the promo will begin on Friday, January 17, 2025. Based on patterns from previous years, voting typically lasts just over a week. The anticipated release schedule for the TOTY cards is as follows: Attackers on January 17, Midfielders on January 19, Defenders and Goalkeeper on January 21, the Full Team on January 23, and the 12th Man on January 24. In addition, a TOTY Warm-Up event is expected to start on January 14.
The main attraction of EA FC 25’s Team of the Year will be the fan-voted TOTY squads. The top vote-getters from both the men’s and women’s categories will receive heavily upgraded blue cards, which are among the most sought-after items in Ultimate Team. These cards often remain meta for the entire season. As part of the event, there will also be a 12th Man and 12th Women vote, giving players the chance to grant a card to one of the nominees who narrowly missed out on the main squad.
