Pooja Sihag’s Family And Education
Pooja Sihag finished her studies at LM Hindu University which is based in Rohtak, India. She did BA which is a Bachelor’s degree in arts. She was born to her father Subhash Sihag, who is a farmer by profession while her mother is a housewife. She also has a sibling, named Ravi Sihag.
After completing her studies she got married to Ajay Nandal on 27th November in year 2021, who is also a former wrestler and an army officer by profession. She is 5ft 3in height and Pooja’s weight is close to 55 kgs.
Pooja Sihag Professional Career And Achievements
Pooja Sihag started practicing wrestling when she was just 11 years old at the Alkesh Sports academy. Luckily after a hard practice, she achieved a Bronze medal in the 2014 Junior Asian Championship which was held in Mongolia. In year 2015, again she won a bronze medal at Junior Asian Championship which was held in Myanmar.
One year later in year 2016 Pooja Sihag again clinched a bronze medal at the junior Asian Championship organized in Chinese Taipei. In year 2017, Pooja underwent an operation on her left knee due to playing sport but later in the same year at the wrestling competition of the senior level, Pooja Sihag clinched a silver medal at the commonwealth games. These held in the South Africa.
Pooja Sihag then played in 2018, at the senior commonwealth championship which was held in South Africa. Recently in 2022, she won Bronze Medal in the ranking series Bolat turlykhanov CUP Almaty in Kazakhstan. She has made the nation proud and this was such a great moment.
