Who is Jacob Fatu?
Jacob Fatu or Jacob Samuel Fatu is American wrestler who was born on 18 April, 1992 in San Francisco, California, U.S. The 32-year-old stands 6 ft 1 in (185 cm) and weighs 279 lb (127 kg).
A look at Jacob Fatu’s career so far
Jacob Fatu’s wrestling legacy is surely enhanced and inspired by his historic family history, and he continues to uphold the great tradition. In 2012, after receiving training from his uncle Rikishi, he made a sensational debut alongside his relative Black Pearl.
His career took a dramatic change when he teamed up with his siblings and entered Major League Wrestling (MLW) in 2019. He made his MLW debut alongside Josef Samael against World Heavyweight Champion Tom Lawlor at the SuperFight event in February.
In MLW, he had great success by taking home the National Openweight Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship, which he held for an incredible 819 days.
Fatu debuted in January 2024 for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) at Battle in the Valley, shortly after leaving MLW. There, he successfully teamed up with Shota Umino and Fred Rosser.

Jacob Fatu is the son of Sam Fatu, who is known in the ring as The Tonga Kid. He is related to the well-known wrestlers Rikishi and Umaga as they are his uncles.
He is a member of the Samoan professional wrestling family, the Anoaʻi family. He has two brothers one of which is Journey Fatu.
Zilla Fatu, the son of the late Umaga, and Jacob Fatu, the son of Sam Fatu, are two prominent members of the Samoan bloodline.
