As aforesaid, Henrik Christiansen has earned the nickname of the โ€œOlympic Muffin Manโ€ due to his viral obsession with the chocolate muffins served in the Paris Olympic Village.

The 27-year-old has shared various videos online showcasing his love for these oversized treats, countering the belief that thereโ€™s nothing good to eat in the Olympic Village. He rates the muffins โ€œ11/10โ€ and calls them โ€œinsane.โ€

Christiansenโ€™s first muffin video left such a deep impression on the fans that he made a follow-up video the same day, using Bobby Caldwellโ€™s 1978 song โ€œWhat You Wonโ€™t Do for Love,โ€ similar to the viral chocolate-covered strawberry TikTok trend.

His teammate humorously accuses him of being there just for the muffins, to which Christiansen, with his mouth full and face covered in chocolate, responds confusedly, โ€œWhat?โ€

About Henrik Christiansen

For the curious, Born on October 9, 1996, Christiansen has a decorated swimming career, winning three medals at the 2014 European Junior Swimming Championships and a silver medal at the 2016 European Aquatics Championships in the 400-meter freestyle.

He also competed at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships and turned down swimming scholarship offers from Stanford University and UC Berkeley to continue training in Norway.
