What Exactly Happened?
As Lumumba Vea was officially integrated into the DR Congo’s national delegation by the Government, he was supposed to be in the stands for the opening match of his team but despite getting the all clear to head stateside, Mboladinga wasn’t in Houston to see their opening game.
It isn’t entirely clear why he wasn’t there, but it may be to do with the start date of his visa as he was there for their pre-World Cup warm-up friendly against Denmark in Liege, Belgium.

Lumumba Vea’s real name is Michel Kuka Mboladinga, however, he is widely known by the name Michel Nkuka.
As per various reports, he was born in Zaire, Democratic Republic of the Congo on September 26, 1976.
Although, there isn’t much information available about his career, however, reports reveal to prepare for his matches, Lumumba Vea goes through rigorous physical training.
To prepare for the stadium strain, the super-fan practiced standing motionlessly for 45-50 minutes at a time. As per various reports, Vea began his motionless training routine back in 2013.
