The employee who accused Red Bull boss Christian Horner of “inappropriate behaviour” has been suspended now.
Red Bull Racing has suspended the employee who initiated the investigation into Christian Horner’s conduct as team manager after a weeks-long probe.

Following the claims, Horner was exonerated of all misconduct by an internal investigation that concluded last week. The 50-year-old’s prospect of leading one of the most successful teams in Formula One history was severely cast doubt on by the woman’s complaint.
Horner maintained his innocence throughout the controversy, which went public on February 5; on February 28, an independent investigation headed by an outside attorney found no evidence of misconduct.
Only one day later, on Thursday of last week, an email purporting to be between Horner and the complainant leaked, drawing a lot of attention to the incident. Speaking ahead of this weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Horner stated that he felt it was both unjustified and that other teams were trying to use it to their advantage.

Meanwhile, Fiona Hewitson, who oversees the racing team’s communications and the schedule of the team principle, is one of Horner’s personal assistants, according to reports from British media sites. While reports claim she could be the personal assistant of Horner who he sent the messages to, nothing is known as of yet. Some theories online also claim Jos Verstappen was dating Fiona given his all out war against Horner at the moment.
Reports also state that Jos and Fiona have known each other for a while and are friends.

Fiona Hewitson oversees the racing team’s communications and the team principal’s schedule and has been one of Christian Horner’s personal aides by British media publications, as per British media.
Specialising in motorsports from her early days with KV Racing Technology in IndyCar almost twelve years ago, she is a well-known and esteemed public relations specialist.

She works at the Milton Keynes factory, although the Red Bull Racing representative office where she is supposedly situated is in London. She was in daily communication with Horner, but their encounters were primarily on business travels. She stated, as per FILEAD outlet:
It’s all utterly appalling.
Horner has been cleared, but most understand that the truth has been obscured, as evidenced by the investigation’s lack of transparency. The revelation of these messages won’t calm matters.”
She further stated:
Being so close to someone like him, you’re privy to many details that shouldn’t be disclosed.
She’s never discussed it with me. We talk daily, and she’s furious, feeling the investigation was biased.”
When asked if the investigations were really independent as stated, she replied:
“I doubt it, and my friend now faces the regrettable likelihood of having to leave a job she loves. Reports claim Horner faced twelve hours of questioning by investigators, but how long was she heard? The disparity is clear.”
