Chelsea’s winger Christian Pulisic recently posted a hilarious video on Instagram of his fall into the sea while doing kick-ups on the side of a boat
The English footballer’s holiday was this close to turning into a nightmare when he fell into the sea over a Goliath Grouper Fish while showcasing his football skills. He had to be dragged back into the boat. The 22-year-old is making the most of his time off before he returns to London for a first pre-season under his Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel. According to Christian, his life flashed in front of his eyes as the following incident happened. He spent this day on water with Fortnite streamer Emad Nasif and Black Tip H Fishing. He initially looked confident juggling the ball with his right foot. But as soon as he tried to level up the display of his skillset, he lost control. Apparently, he had caught a Goliath Grouper Fish and was teaching it how to play soccer, as a voice exclaims in the start of the video.
It’s unlikely that the fish was impressed with Christian’s skills. He lost control and slipped out of the boat, into the sea, landing on top of the fish. The Chelsea winger had to be pulled back into the boat. He was nervously laughing as his showboating backfired. Watch the full video from his Instagram profile below.
Chelsea Counterparts Mock USMNT’s Pulisic
His club colleagues Thiago Silva, Tammy Abraham and Marcos Alonso all commented upon the Instagram video with laughing emojis. Incoming Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho mocked his former Dortmund colleague with the comment, ‘Bro your playing to much [sic].’ Caen forward Nicholas Gioacchini, Fulham defender Antonee Robinson and Barcelona star Sergino Dest also shared in the joke on Pulisic on Instagram.
On the other hand, Christian Pulisic also left plenty of fans disappointed with what clearly appears as animal cruelty on behalf of the USA International.
