Vineeta Singh was born in Anand, Gujarat, India. She further moved to Delhi and did her schooling at Delhi Public school, RK Puram, New Delhi. Then she enrolled herself in the institute of technology, Madras and after that, she studied at the Indian of Management, Ahmedabad. Vineeta did BTech in electrical engineering from Madras and MBA from Ahmedabad.
She married Kaushik Mukherjee on the 4th of December in 2011. Kaushik Mukherjee is the co-founder of sugar cosmetics. Vineeta was born to Tej Singh, who is a scientist at the all India medical institute of sciences, New Delhi while her mother is also a PhD holder. Vineeta and Kaushik together have 2 kids namely Vikrant and Ranveer Mukherjee.
Her father, Tej Singh, worked as a scientist at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and her mother is a PhD holder.
Vineeta is a well-known Indian businesswoman who owns the famous cosmetics brand ” sugar cosmetics”. Singh has received numerous awards for playing badminton when she was in school and college too. Vineeta did an internship of 3 months at the ITC limited, Kolkata in 2014. While doing her MBA she also did 3 months internship at the Deutsche bank, based in London. After finishing her internship she received an amazing offer of 1 crore salary per annum but she declined that offer and wanted to set up her own business.
In 2007, she worked at Quetzal online private limited as a director in Mumbai. Then further she began supplying her own product Fab Bag in Mumbai. In 2015, she launched her own cosmetic brand, Sugar. Presently sugar has 2500 plus outlets in more than 130 cities of India.
