The 8 Show follows eight people as they take part in a deadly game show with its ending now explained
May 17, 2024, saw the premiere of Season 1 of The 8 Show.
The 8 Show is based on the Naver webtoon projects Money Game and Pie Game by Bae Jin-soo. Park Jeong-min as Phillip, Chun Woo-hee as Se-ra, and Ryu Jun-yeol as Jin-soo are among the cast members.
By the K-drama’s ending episode of The 8 Show, 1F, 2F, 3F, and 4F form a coalition to overthrow others and their despotic government. They intended to make advantage of the knowledge that 1F had gained upon his initial arrival: for one million win.
The purchasing plan appears wise when 8F was given a golf club to the skull, putting a stop to her continuous torment. However, it’s a scam. 1F finds out that he has only bought the price list for the remaining floors after paying the entire bill. The real values are unaffordable due to their enormous cost.
This development makes 1F very angry. He holds the other floors at gunpoint, has them bind each other, and then performs for them, emulating his work as a circus clown, in an attempt to prolong the game and raise the prize pot.
1F drops an overhead projector doing acrobatics, causing it to smash into the empty pool below and catch fire. Not long after, 1F crashes, severely burning itself in the process.
It doesn’t seem like the game will end anytime soon with all of this intense drama. It has a time limit of 1440 hours. An unconventional approach is needed.
This originates from 3F, who spearheads the group’s attempt to destroy every camera. How can there be a game if there’s nothing for the viewers to see? It’s a clever idea, and the intended outcome is achieved by shutting off all of the video. The doors open, the countdown hits zero, and the competitors are released.
The 8 Show season 2
Netflix has not given any confirmation for The 8 Show season 2 as of May 2024. The first season will be evaluated before making any decisions on its future. Netflix probably thinks The 8 Show will be as successful as Squid Game, considering how similar the new show is to that series.

Although South Korean television series typically conclude after one season, the emergence of foreign corporations such as Netflix and Amazon has started to alter this trend. The 8 Show may therefore return for a second season if the public is pleased with Season 1. However, nothing is officially known as of now.
