Manimaran Siddharth got Virat out for the first time in his IPL career, which is a big achievement for him because Kohli is a famous batsman. People in Bengaluru really love cricket, especially the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team. But on Tuesday night, they were disappointed because RCB lost their second game in a row at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

They were chasing 182 runs against Lucknow Super Giants but only managed to score 153 runs and lost by 28 runs. After RCB’s third loss this season, both fans and players were upset. In a video posted by RCB, Virat Kohli looked disappointed as head coach Andy Flower spoke to the players after the match.

In the video posted on X Flower mentioned, “Today was tough, and we’re all hurting. But let’s focus on the opportunity ahead. How can we bounce back from this?”  He promised to give their best when they return to Bengaluru for their next home games.

In the video, he also thanked RCB fans for their support. It’s tough to see you disappointed, but we appreciate your backing. He mentioned that they will do their best to make fans proud. RCB has lost three out of four matches this season.

Virat Kohli has been their best player, scoring 203 runs at a fast pace. However, Du Plessis has only managed 65 runs in four games and Glenn Maxwell has contributed just 31 runs in the same number of matches. Kohli was playing well, scoring 22 runs off 15 balls with two boundaries and a great straight six. But then, Siddharth bowled a slower delivery that spun away from Kohli.

Kohli mistimed his shot, and Devdutt Padikkal caught him, giving LSG their first breakthrough. This led to a collapse in RCB’s batting lineup. A total of 10 bowlers, including Ashok Dinda, Ashish Nehra, Albie Morkel, Chetanya Nanda, Doug Bracewell, Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell McClenaghan, Harpreet Brar, Dewald Bravis, and now Siddharth, have all gotten Virat Kohli out for their first-ever IPL wicket.
