2022 Diamond League Schedule, Date, Time, Venue, And Other Details
The 2022 Diamond League is the thirteenth season of World Athletics’ annual series of outdoor track and field events. Since the Diamond League’s inception in 2010, the tournament has been a renovation to the top level athletics series. The dual-meet final format was set to be replaced by a single final, bringing the total number of meetings to 14, and the number of Diamond Discipline events to 32. The calendar has been updated to include a second Chinese meeting. The events were cut in order for the series to fit into a regular 120-minute broadcast format.
A variety of Diamond Discipline events will be held at each conference, some of which will not be broadcast. The World Athletics Continental Tour, which will take the place of the IAAF World Challenge as the second tier of track and field events, will feature events that have lost their Diamond Discipline status.
2022 Diamond League Schedule
The following thirteen events will be part of the 2022 season’s calendar. World Athletics stated on May 6, 2022, that two meetings scheduled to take place in China had been cancelled. As an alternative, the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Chorzow was chosen.

2022 Stockholm Diamond League Javelin Throw, Participation of Neeraj Chopra, and Events List
Despite the fact that Tokyo Olympics champion Neeraj Chopra was not competing in the Doha Diamond League 2022 season opener, the Indian javelin ace was skeptical of the results at the Qatar Sports Club. Anderson Peters of Grenada, the reigning world champion, won the men’s javelin throw gold medal in Doha with a magnificent throw of 93.07m, becoming the newest member of the highly rare 90m club, which Neeraj Chopra is yet to join.
In fact, Peters crossed the 90m barrier twice in Doha, throwing a whopping 90.19m with his fifth throw before winning with his final attempt. With a magnificent 90.88m throw, Tokyo Olympic Silver Medalist Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic improved on his personal best and finished second at Doha.
Olympic champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra says he is looking forward to starting his Diamond League season on June 30 in Stockholm, despite fears of injury during the Kuortane Games in Finland, where he secured his first victory of the year. At Stockholm Diamond League 2022, participants will compete for medals in the following categories.
Reigning Olympic Champion of Men’s Javelin Throw, Neeraj Chopra will also take the field on 30th June as he will attempt to snatch the gold from Peters, who won the gold earlier in Diamond League.

Stockholm Diamond League Prize Money, Awards, Live Stream And Telecast
The winners at Stockholm Diamond League will earn a total of $10,000 along with the gold medal meanwhile, the runner-up of each event will earn $6,000. The Wanda Diamond League, which is structured like a championship, consists of 32 Diamond Disciplines. Athletes accumulate points at the 13 series events to advance to their discipline’s final. For placing first through eighth in each of the 13 series meetings, athletes receive 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 points.
Each “Diamond League Champion” at the Final will earn a Diamond Trophy, $30,000 in prize money, and a wild card to the World Athletics Championships in addition to winning their respective Diamond Discipline.
