This month, when the first Ice Hockey League gets underway in Ladakh, the Ice Hockey League will make its Indian debut.

The goal of the Royal Enfield Ice Hockey League is to foster competition among grassroots players in order to advance the sport. This aligns with the principles outlined in The Game Changer: Blueprint for the Development of Ice Hockey in Ladakh.
The Ice Hockey Association of Ladakh, the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, and Royal Enfield; the world leader in the mid-size (250–750cc) motorcycle segment; unveiled the names and logos of the 15 teams that will compete in the inaugural Royal Enfield Ice Hockey League in Ladakh from 3–13 January 2024.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sonam Chosjor of Leh flagged in Royal Enfield riders for the magnificent road show that revealed the information.
When and where will the Royal Enfield Ice Hockey League 2024 be held?
At several locations throughout Ladakh, the competition will take place from January 3 to January 13.
Fifteen teams from five of Ladakh’s seven zones; Changthang, Leh, Sham, Dras, and Shakar Chiktan; will compete in the tournament, which will be held in the union territory of Ladakh.
