The seasoned filmmaker shared the exciting news on Instagram on Friday along with the movie’s new release date, with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. On Instagram, Karan Johar wrote,
I had the absolute honor of working with not one, but many illustrious actors on the set of my 7th film. The familial nostalgic feeling of an ensemble cast, creating music that captivates the hearts and a story that runs deep to the roots of our family traditions.

The movie was supposed to hit theaters on February 10, 2023, but it has been delayed since Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy forced the shooting to take longer than expected. Now, a new date for the movie’s release has officially been announced and it is April 28, 2023.

The main cast of the movie is Alia Bhat portraying Rani and Ranveer Singh portraying Rocky. Apart from them, many other prominent actors were also a part of this movie.
