The NNN, commonly known as No Nut November involves refraining from self-pleasure for the entire month. Each year on November 1, thousands of participants begin the NNN.
Men must resist touching themselves at all costs, or “bust a nut.” This challenge they have to follow for the whole month of November.
Now here comes the answer to the question of how it originated and its internet takeover of this phenomenon.

According to Know Your Meme, the beginning of this crazy NNN trend started in 2011. This trend was later added to Urban Dictionary on November 3, 2011. “Bicboi6969696969 ” was the person who started the NNN trend online.
The person described it as a challenge in which men must refrain from touching themselves for the entire month of November. To much surprise, the challenge quickly gained popularity online and was widely accepted.
But it wasn’t until 2017, six years later, that this challenge acceptance saw a surgeon internet, especially on Twitter and made the fad start to take off. Since then, the NNN has taken over the internet by storm and gained popularity on Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, and various other social media platforms.
Who Started The No Nut Rules For November?
A simple online joke or meme that some people used to like served as the origin of the trend. It has since become a thorough challenge with extremely strict rules.
According to Know Your Meme, on November 1, 2018, a user going by the name of yeeval posted the guidelines to the “r/nonutnovember” subreddit. There is a total of 2,600 upvotes and 575 comments in support of the original rules. However, variants of them have since gained popularity on social media.
The Coupon For the No Nut November Pass
Recently, a brand-new element of the challenge has emerged: the NNN pass commonly referred to as a Coupon. In simple words, a man is permitted to touch himself once during the month of November without failing the test.
The challenge can then be continued, but according to Urban Dictionary, you can only use the pass once, and it must be offered to you by a woman. Along with this, men will need evidence that a girl has granted them permission to continue No Nut November.
