About Nassau County International Cricket Stadium
Located in Eisenhower Park on Long Island, this modular stadium has been specially constructed for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to accommodate cricket in the USA, where permanent cricket stadiums are limited, especially around New York City.
Designed by the architecture firm Populous and built by Arena Event Services, the Nassau Stadium incorporates modular elements and repurposed grandstands from other major events like golf tournaments and the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Completion of the stadium is expected in May 2024, with its first tournament match scheduled for June 3.
After the World Cup, the temporary seating structure will be removed, leaving behind the cricket field and its pitches, with natural grass being replaced by artificial turf for easier maintenance.
