It is rumored that the man is Saurabh Netravalkar, who is expected to represent the United States of America in their 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Who is Saurabh Netravalkar?

Saurabh Netravalkar is an American cricketer who was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on October 16, 1991. The software engineer is a graduate of Cornell University and the Sardar Patel Institute of Technology in Mumbai and is currently working with Oracle.

The 22 year old has a height of 6 feet and is married to Devi Snigdha Muppala.

Although his salary is not known, the minimum cricket pay rate in the US is $15,080, the average pay rate is $70,000 and the highest pay rate is $90,000 per year. His net worth is between $250,000–500,000.

He can persistently bowl in the 125-130 kmph region.

Saurabh Netravalkar, a left-arm medium-fast bowler, once represented the India under-19 team. He participated in the competition alongside athletes like Mayank Agarwal, Jaydev Unadkat, and KL Rahul who later became members of the Indian national cricket squad.

He made his Mumbai team debut in the Ranji Trophy on December 22, 2013, in the 2013–14 season. On February 27, 2014, he made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2013–14 Vijay Hazare Trophy. 

Despite competing for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and other national events, he eventually moved to the USA because he believed there were more chances and better options there.

In January 2018, he was selected to play for the United States national cricket team in the 2017–18 Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies. 

In August 2018, he was a member of the American squad that competed in the ICC World Twenty20 Americas Qualifier in Morrisville, North Carolina.

He was selected as the squad captain by USA Cricket in October 2018 for the 2018–19 Regional Super50 competition in the West Indies and the 2018–19 ICC World Cricket League Division Three event in Oman.

In February 2019, he was named the United States captain for the Twenty20 International (T20I). On March 15, 2019, he made his T20I series debut. In the player’s selection in March 2023, Netravalkar was selected by the Washington Freedom to play Major League Cricket.
