All the viewers of the Moon Knight series became emotional as the show came to an end on Wednesday. In the last episode, we got to see Arthur Harrow eventually manages in rescuing the Egyptian deity. He frees Ammit from her confinement but a serious problem occurs.

Marc Spector and Steven Grant are still trapped in the underworld. But Layla El-Faouly is on the spot and continues to focus on Harrow. Taweret orders her to rescue Khonshu and informs her that Marc and Steven are striving to escape.

Moon Knight Ending Explanation

In the final episode, we have seen Layla and Marc undergo the procedure to confine Ammit. Marc convinces Khonshu to free him, which means he lost his Moon Knight superpowers. Then, surprisingly, Marc and Steven both eventually end up back in the hospital ward. This again, though, they discover Harrow leaving bloody trails and fail to acknowledge his statement. They then wake up at their Londo residence.

Then a guy dressed in black places Arthur in a wheelchair and pushes him through the hospital. There we observe on the surface that somebody was murdered and switched. This stranger drags Arthur outside and throws him into a car, where he meets Khonshu in the middle. Khonshu is sitting quite slowly, telling Arthur that he still has his hand of revenge. Sure, he doesn’t have Marc or Steven anymore. But he has a match in Jake Lockley, the third identity possessing their body.

Who Is Jake Lockley in the Moon Knight?

Fans of comic books will definitely know Jake Lockley as Marc’s third character and may have been hoping his coming. Jake is often characterized in Marvel Comics as the roughest and vicious of the three personalities. He is usually described as a cab driver with a short trigger for fury and a desire for bloodshed.

Prior to this entrance, we’ve seen Jake many times in this adventure series. Well, the first time he appeared in the third episode was when Marc fainted out and awoke accompanied by dead bodies. Then, in Episode 4, we saw a shaking sarcophagus on Marc’s journey to the afterlife. As well all know that Steven was held in one of those, and Lockley was most likely attempting to leave from that box.
