In the midst of the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin is facing backlash on social media after fans dug out the producer’s previous statements with him going onto delete his tweets on Twitter/X after Metro Groomin started trending

Metro Boomin, a St. Louis, Missouri native is regarded as one of the most important hip-hop producers in the past ten years. He has worked on songs including Future and Drake’s “Jumpman,” Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” Post Malone’s “Congratulations,” and Future’s “Mask Off.”

After social media detectives looked through past tweets by Metro Boomin, he found himself the subject of scrutiny. On Monday night, May 6, “Metro Groomin” went viral on X (formerly Twitter). Some troublesome Tweets by Metro Boomin were saved and shared by people. One compilation of the trending tweets includes statements like, “she might be young but she ready,” and “I’m tryna tell [one of my friends] that age ain’t nothing but a number.”

The 30-year-old producer was between the ages of 17 and 20 when many of the tweets were sent between 2011 and 2014. Some messages contain lyrics from songs about drugging girls with Molly, and a series of 2010 tweets lists ten guidelines. “No Means Blow” and “Commin 2 my hotel ya gotta blow, 1, 2, 3, and maybe 4” are some of the tweets.

In another tweet, Metro wrote, “That’s that r Kelly trapped in the closet s###.” Another post sees Metro talking about “walking through the grocery store with both hands in my pockets like a true pedophile.”

Metro Boomin’s career

At the age of sixteen, Metro Boomin started his career as a music producer in 2009. In order to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, he moved there in 2011. Since then, he has worked closely with several Atlanta-based musicians, including Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, and Migos.

After co-producing the 2014 song “Tuesday” for iLoveMakonnen, which reached at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, Wayne became more well-known.

He was credited on a string of similarly successful singles throughout 2016, including “Jumpman” by Drake and Future, “Low Life” by Future, and”Bad and Boujee” by Migos. This was followed by “Congratulations” by Post Malone, “Tunnel Vision” by Kodak Black, “Mask Off” by Future, “Bank Account” by 21 Savage, and his second number one production, “Heartless” by the Weeknd.
