List Of Twitch Streamers Banned And Reason For The Ban 2022

This is a list of Twitch streamers banned in 2022. Know who all they were and why they were banned by the platform

Twitch has a bad reputation for banning streamers on the spur of the moment. However, multiple Twitch bans occurred in 2021, causing quite a commotion among the streamers’ fans.

The following are some of the most problematic Twitch suspensions issued in 2021.

Twitch Streamers Banned In 2022 And Reasons For The Ban

Disguised Toast

Disguised Toast makes his official return to Twitch after two years of streaming on Facebook Gaming. However, he was unexpectedly banned from the platform in April of last year when watching one of his older clips in which a player used a homophobic slur.

While it’s admirable that the purple platform is attempting to prevent users from promoting negativity and hatred on the network, their tactics for doing so were odd.

xQc

Felix “xQc” Lengyel has received nearly six Twitch bans to date. However, when he decided to livestream the Olympics this year, the streamer received a Twitch ban. His account was suspended because to a DMCA violation, and the streamer was unable to access it for about five hours.

Despite the fact that the streamer quickly apologised, his followers were not thrilled with the former Overwatch pro’s Twitch suspension.

Hasanabi

Hasanabi is the latest in a long line of Twitch streamers to be banned without warning. The streamer has recently been debating the use of the term “cracker” on the internet. While the majority of people believe it is a racist term directed towards white people, Hasan disagrees. For a long time, the community was divided on this issue.

The streamer was hit with Twitch’s infamous ban hammer after a few days of back and forth, which enraged the streamer even more. Despite the fact that Twitch did not provide an official reason for the ban, Hasan is certain that the ongoing controversy was the catalyst for his removal from the platform.

Dr DisRespect

Dr DisRespect just made the jump to YouTube and set a number of new audience records. In June, he was banned from Twitch, and he claims the platform has not given the cause for his removal. Dr. Disrespect has also had his fair share of controversies over his career.

Jimmy Wong, a musician and actor, famously accused The Doc of being violent and racist, aside from an instance in which he was caught streaming from a public restroom. Dr Disrespect is one of the most contentious streamers around, despite the fact that most of his manner is part of the role he portrays.

Alinity

Before becoming a streamer, Alinity worked as a full-time nurse. Her streaming career, on the other hand, has been marred by a slew of scandals. She famously ordered a ‘copy-strike’ against prominent YouTuber PewDiePie back in 2018.

Alinity is also well-known for her frequent ‘wardrobe mishaps,’ which have resulted in her being blacklisted. However, the most contentious aspect of her career has been the allegations of animal abuse levelled against her. The streamer was once caught in the act of spitting alcohol into the mouth of her cat!

InvaderVie

InvaderVie has recently become one of the internet’s most despised streamers. When the coronavirus epidemic initially came out, the streamer was observed advising her viewers that if they didn’t have $5 to spare for a subscription to her material, they shouldn’t be watching random broadcasters on Twitch!

She then referred to some of her viewers as “cheapskates” and “immature children.” She then went on to say that if people don’t have $5 in their pocket, they should go out and look for work. She was heavily trolled on the internet and eventually had to issue an apology.

Hasan Piker

With 495k followers on Twitch, Hasan Piker has a sizable following. People seem to forget about certain contentious statements that the streamer has made in the past, despite the fact that he has managed to carve out a thriving streaming career.

On one occasion, he was caught on live video denigrating a US combat veteran. The streamer went on to suggest that “America deserved 9/11,” which YouTuber TheQuartering recently discussed in a video. Furthermore, he was recently caught on camera telling his followers that “YouTubers don’t work as hard as Twitch streamers.”

Soulja Boy

On December 9, 2021, Soulja Boy was banned for the second time. The first suspension was very brief, lasting barely five minutes. The second ban, on the other hand, has been in effect for the past week, and Soulja Boy has had enough — especially since he has no idea what caused the initial ban.

Soulja Boy turned to Twitter on December 15 to say that being banned without explanation “doesn’t feel right” and that he has to “sue these guys.” More tweets from the rapper proceeded to criticise Twitch, threatening to sue them. He even inquired about Twitch’s CEO and where he could reach them on Twitter.
