Khanewal Cricket Stadium In Pakistan Converted Into Vegetable Farm To Grow Pumpkins And Chilies

Even by Pakistan’s dismal standards, the decision to convert the Khanewal Cricket Stadium into a vegetable farm is a new low

For a country which is run by a President who was a cricketer himself, the sorry state of sporting affairs in Pakistan is a testament to how confounded Imran Khan is. A person bereft of the basic knowledge it takes to run a country apart from groveling at China’s feet and throwing his weight behind terrorists, Imran Khan has run an already appalling country even further into the ground.

In a soup well before he took over, Pakistan now find themselves in a soup with the country starting at the barrel. In the midst of bankruptcy, the country has now utterly thrown itself as the Communist party’s regime in China, a country which has been way too eager to feed on Pakistan’s plight.

As the country gets ready to throw open its door to international cricket with New Zealand, England and Australia all set to visit the land in the course of the year, Pakistan’s Khanewal cricket stadium has been taken over by farmers. Built by the Khanewal district government, the stadium which housed worldclass amenities was one of the most pristine bits of infrastructure in the country.

However, with the authorities turning a blind eye and no sporting action taking place at the venue, the premises now see pumpkins and chilies being cultivated on it. Whilst the stadium rots, Pakistan continues indulging in the Taliban as it backs the terrorist organisation which has taken over Afghanistan as the crisis in the country dwindles.
