The Thailand Open in 2022 will be the ninth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be part of the Thailand Open championships, which have been held since 1984. The Badminton Association of Thailand will host the competition, which will be sanctioned by the BWF.

2022 Thailand Open Badminton Women’s Singles First Round Draw, Fixtures, Players List
PV Sindhu is the sixth seed in the Thailand Open after leading India to the quarterfinals of the Uber Cup. In the first round, she will face a qualifier winner. Saina Nehwal falls into the same bracket as PV Sindhu and has the possibility to face Sindhu in quarter-finals. Nehwal will start her campaign against Kim Ga-eun of Korea. Akane Yamugachi, the second seed in this tournament, is the other seeded participant in Nehwal and Sindhu’s bracket.
