The Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025 are currently underway, with the first round of matches concluded, check out all the tournament results
The tournament starts off just one week after the conclusion of the Asian leg of the BWF World Tour.
The tournament is taking place at the Conson Gymnasium, in Qingdao, China and will also serve as a qualifier for the Sudirman Cup.
All the four semi-finalists are guaranteed a spot in the Sudirman Cup. Meanwhile, China have already qualified since they are a host and the defending Champions, as such, in the event that they finish in the top four, the next-best ranked Asian team will get their spot.

- Group A – China, Chinese Taipei, Singapore
- Group B – Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong
- Group C – Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan
- Group D – South Korea, India, Macau
Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025 format
The tournament started out with 13 teams, but the Philippines withdrew from the tournament. Following which, the organizers then divided the 12 teams into four groups with three teams each. Each of the teams in a group will play off against each other in a round-robin format during the group stages. From then on, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockouts.
Each tie will feature five matches, consisting of one match from each discipline. The first team that wins three matches will win the tie. During the group stages, all five matches will take place irrespective of the result. However, in the knockout rounds, the tie will conclude after a team wins three matches.

India lost 2-3 to South Korea in a Group D fixture in the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025 at the Qingdao Conson Sports Centre in China.
