The 2022 Korea Masters will be the ninth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Masters championships, which have been held since 2007. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

2022 Korea Masters Badminton Women’s Singles First Round Results, Fixtures, Players List
In first round of women’s singles at 2022 Korea Masters, Zhang Yiman was stunned by the United States shuttler Lauren Lam in straight sets with a score of 21-19, 21-17. Elsewhere, Olympic champion Chen Yufei thrashed Singapore player Yue Yann Jaslyn Hooi in straight sets. Yufei won the match with a core of 21-17, 21-10.
Meanwhile, the Indian players including medal hope Saina Nehwal announced their withdrawal from the ongoing 2022 Korea Masters due to upcoming selection trials for Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
