Wesley Bryan was suspended by the PGA Tour for participating in an event sponsored by LIV Golf two weeks ago.
Although Wesley Bryan informed the website Monday Q, which broke the news of the ban, that he was unsure of its duration and that he would pursue the tour’s appeals procedure, the tour has not responded.
This week, Bryan, 35, is in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for the Corales Puntacana Championship, where he placed second to Billy Horschel the previous year, although he is not competing. It is scheduled across from the RBC Heritage, Bryan’s only PGA Tour triumph, which he won in his home state of South Carolina in 2017.

Wesley Bryan’s family and education
Wesley Bryan was born on 25 March 1990 and is 6ft tall. Bryan went to Irmo, South Carolina, to attend Dutch Fork High School. He won two tournaments while playing collegiate golf at the University of South Carolina.
The golfer discovered that his wife, Elizabeth Gray, was his greatest source of support with them being childhood friends. They were meant to be together from the moment they were born in 1990 in Irmo, South Carolina. Their love blossomed during their junior year of high school, but they had initially met at the age of four in preschool.
For college, Elizabeth who is aged 35 and is a Christian by religion, went to Augusta University and got a physician assistant degree. While her net worth isn’t known, her husband is currently worth between $5-10 million.
They maintained a close relationship in spite of their diverse college choices and professional choices. Wesley Bryan’s father, George III, was a professional golfer who established the George Bryan Golf Academy in Chapin, South Carolina. Mary Chandler, George Bryan, and Wesley Bryan, the father’s three children, decided to play golf after witnessing the father. The oldest, George Bryan, began two years ahead of schedule but struggled to earn a spot on the PGA Tour. After 13 years of becoming a professional, he made his debut on the Northern American Tour.
Chandler, their sister, has also played golf at the university level and was named to the All-Colonia Athletic Association First Team in 2014 and 2015.

Wesley Bryan participated in mini-tours prior to receiving his 2016 Web.com Tour card after placing T-9 at qualifying school. He won the Chitimacha Louisiana Open in his third event of the 2016 season.
A month later, he won the El Bosque Mexico Championship for the second time. He was promoted to the PGA Tour in August after winning the Digital Ally Open, his third tournament of the year. The eleventh golfer to do so was him. He was named Player of the Year on the Web.com Tour.
Bryan qualified for the 2018 Masters Tournament after winning his first PGA Tour event at the RBC Heritage on April 16, 2017. After moving up the field from four strokes behind with a final round score of 67, he defeated Luke Donald by a single shot. Bryan’s career-highest rating to date, 37th in the Official World Golf rating, came from the victory.
He has earned more than $5.36 million during his career, including 15 top-10 and 37 top-25 finishes on the PGA Tour. His participation in the LIV Duels inaugural event in 2025 resulted in an indefinite suspension of his PGA Tour card.
