The 2022 Korea Masters will be the ninth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Masters championships, which have been held since 2007. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

In the semi-final of women’s singles at 2022 Korea Masters, fourth-seed He BJ defeated second-seed and Korea Open winner An Seyoung in straight sets. He BJ won the match with a score of 21-11, 21-13 and advanced to the final, where she will face top-seed and fellow country player Chen YF.
In the other semi-final, top-seed Chen YF faced fellow country player Wang ZY in a nail-biting match and won 21-7, 19-21, 21-17.
