The WTT Finals Men is the first of four significant World Table Tennis (WTT) competitions to be held in January 2023 in Doha, Qatar, and is being hosted by the Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA).
Before the high-profile competition, which will begin at the Lusail Sports Hall, the World Table Tennis (WTT) Finals Men 2023 draw showed intriguing matchups.
A potential semi-final match between Fan Zhendong and China’s World No. 3 veteran Ma Long is set up by the top half of the draw. Ma is excited about ending that run in Doha and is still aiming for a WTT Men’s Singles championship. This week, Jang Woojin of South Korea presents him with his first challenge.
Felix Lebrun, the breakthrough star of 2023, will square off against reigning champion Wang Chuqin in the bottom half of the draw. Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Tomokazu Harimoto, the two-time runners-up in the WTT Finals, will square off in another exciting battle that will be seen by fans worldwide.
