On Sunday, Tom Stoltman clinched the title of the World’s Strongest Man for the third time in the last four years, outperforming Canada’s Mitchell Hooper and the United States’ Evan Singleton. Meanwhile, Tom’s brother Luke Stoltman secured ninth place.

Stoltman entered Saturday with a three-point lead, which he expanded by finishing third in the Conan’s Wheel (777 degrees, earning eight points), tying for second in the Terrain Deadlift (8.5 points reps), and clinching first in the Atlas Stones (five stones in 38.14 seconds, earning 10 points). He has consistently secured either first or second place in the last five World’s Strongest Man competitions.
Hooper, the reigning champion who has also triumphed in the last two Arnold Strongman Classics, managed to narrow the gap on Stoltman during the Conan’s Wheel by delivering the second-best performance (821 degrees), earning nine points. However, he lost momentum in the Terrain Deadlift (six reps, six points) and Atlas Stones (four stones in 37.35 seconds, nine points), relinquishing his title in the process.
Singleton narrowly edged out Ragg for third place, struggling to amass more than five points in any of the three events on Sunday. Conversely, his Canadian counterpart had an exceptional day, securing the top score in the Terrain Deadlift (eight reps) and delivering solid performances in the Conan’s Wheel (748 degrees, earning seven points) and Atlas Stones (four stones in 49.43 seconds, six points).

While the total prize pool for the World’s Strongest Man 2024 remains undisclosed, reports suggest that Tom Stoltman’s championship earnings will be around $150,000, a substantial increase from the $52,600 awarded to the winner in 2020.
