2022 BWF World Tour Finals: Women’s Singles Qualified Players & Season Preview
Akane Yamaguchi, the current world champion, and Chen Yufei, the Olympic winner, will be the clear favorites at the women’s singles event of the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals due to their recent performance. In 2022 season, Akane Yamaguchi has won two championships including prestigious titles like All-England Open and Japan Open. Meanwhile, 2022 Indonesia Masters champion Chen Yufei is seeded first thanks to her 10 podium performances in 2022 BWF World Tour.
Only Thailand, represented by Ratchanok Intanon and Busanan Ongbamrungphan, will have numerous participants. Dark horses Gregoria Mariska Tunjung of Indonesia and Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand made it into this prestigious competition by outpacing several other top-ranked players. He Bingjiao of China will attempt to maintain her unflappable performance, which saw her win four titles, including the Denmark Open.
These eight top shuttlers will be divided into two equal groups in accordance with the tournament’s rules, and the top two players from each group will then advance to the semifinals. For this upcoming tournament, fans can purchase their tickets from here.
