A distressing video was released on Friday, allegedly showing Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, at a Los Angeles hotel

According to CNN, which obtained the footage exclusively, the incident occurred on March 5, 2016, at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

The video seemingly depicts Combs chasing Ventura down a hallway and catching up to her as she waited for an elevator. Combs is seen allegedly grabbing Ventura, throwing her to the ground, kicking her, and attempting to drag her back to a hotel room.

What Exactly does the Video Show?

The surveillance video matches allegations from a now-settled federal lawsuit filed by Ventura in November.

The footage, from multiple camera angles dated March 5, 2016, appears to show Combs during an incident at reportedly the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

In the video, Ventura exits a hotel room and walks to a bank of elevators. Combs, holding a towel around his waist, runs after Ventura, grabs her by the neck, and throws her to the floor.

Still holding his towel, he then kicks her. As Ventura lies on the ground, Combs retrieves a purse and suitcase near the elevators, kicks her again, and briefly drags her by her sweatshirt before walking away.

Ventura then slowly stands up, gathers items from the floor, and moves to pick up a phone near the elevators. Combs returns, appearing to shove Ventura, then sits on a chair, grabs an object from a table, and throws it toward her.

Then he walks away but turns back toward Ventura as an elevator door opens and someone appears. Ventura, who settled with Combs under undisclosed terms, declined to comment on the video.

However, her attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, remarked, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.

“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude Ms. Ventura has shown in bringing this to light.”

Combs has previously denied Ventura’s allegations. Combs and Ventura, a model and singer known for songs like “Me & U,” were in an on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.
