Christian Horner is again trending for wrong reasons and this time, for his alleged WhatsApp leaks which is making rounds on social media.

After a number of purported messages were published, the principal of the Red Bull team, once again refuted claims of improper behaviour. Following the release of hundreds of reportedly his WhatsApp conversations to a female colleague, Horner met with the president of Formula 1 and the FIA.
While the female employee is speculated to be his personal assistant, neither the details of the employee nor Horner’s assistant are known as his Google Drive chat goes viral.
An Executive Assistant for Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology, Fiona Hewitson is also rumored to be the female employee who levied the allegations against Horner however, these are just rumors for now.

Horner was cleared on Wednesday by an independent investigation conducted by Red Bull GmBH, the Austrian parent company of the team. Horner will travel to Bahrain to be with the team for the opening weekend of the season.
However, a mere twenty-four hours later, on the eve of this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix, texts and several photos purportedly exchanged between Horner and the complaint were forwarded to 149 members of the Formula One paddock via an anonymous email account. Horner said that he won’t speak on any “anonymous speculation”. He further stated: “But, to reiterate, I have always denied the allegations.”

Who is Christian Horner?
Christian Edward Johnston Horner is a British motorsport administrator and former racer who was born on November 16, 1973 in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. He currently serves as team principal and CEO of Red Bull Racing.

After giving up on his dream of being a Formula 1 driver, Red Bull’s team principal went on to become the owner of one of the most successful F1 teams in recent memory.
Prior to retiring from racing in 1997 at the age of 25, Horner began his career as a driver, competing in the British Formula Renault Championship, British Formula 2, and British Formula 3.
At the age of 31, he joined Red Bull Racing in 2005, making history as the youngest-ever F1 team principal. Red Bull has won seven drivers’ titles and six constructors’ championships since its founding in 2005, all under his direction.
Christian Horner founded Arden in January 1996. He was the team principal for Arden until 2005, at which point he moved on to Red Bull Racing in Formula 1. The management of Arden’s racing and business ventures is still handled by Horner’s father, Garry.
