Puneri Paltan became the seventh club in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) to win the championship in the league’s grand finale.

At the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, today, they defeated the Haryana Steelers 28–25 to win the championship.
The Pune team’s best player, Pankaj Mohite, led the team with nine riad points. Nonetheless, Haryana was unable to overtake Pune at any stage during the match. Shivam Patare, who scored six points, was their top player. Their other scorers were Siddharth Desai (4 points), Vinay Tewatia (3 points) and Mohit (3 points).
Puneri Paltan had everyone contributing in the game that mattered most as they overcame the heartbreak from the previous season to win their first-ever title. Mohit Goyat (5 points), Aslam Inamdar (4 points), and Gaurav Khatri (4 points) were also on the scorecard.
