The National Testing Agency recently announced the results of the JEE Main 2024 session 2 on Wednesday, April 24. Know who is Sanvi Jain, the All India girls topper along with her biography

The JEE Main 2024 was topped by Nilkrishna Gajare from Maharashtra. Dakshesh Sanjay Mishra and Aarav Bhatt received AIR 2 and 3 respectively. Among the female applicants Sanvi Jain scored AIR 34 and became the topper of the girl’s category.

Karnataka native Sanvi Jain and Delhi native Shayna Sinha were the two female applicants who achieved a 100 NTA score in JEE Mains 2024. 56 contestants received full scores this year. This can result in an increase in the JEE cut-off, which is the entrance exam required to get into the Indian Institutes of Technology.

Sanvi who achieved 300 out of 300 marks went to the Aakash Institute for coaching.

In an interview with JEE Nexus by Unacademy, she said, “I had both ups and downs. Sometimes, I would not score well; then, I would have to see where I was going wrong in my concepts. Sometimes, I faced hardships while studying organic chemistry as it required me to memorise a lot. I did face some challenges, but I succeeded.”

Sanvi Jain discussed her exam preparation challenges in an interview and revealed that she has faced both ups and downs during her journey. She highlighted that she found difficulty while studying organic chemistry because it involved a lot of memorizations.

JEE Mains 2024

The JEE Main 2024 examinations took place in two sessions: on January 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1st, and on April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9th, respectively. The tests were conducted using computer-based testing, or CBT. 10,67,95 students took the Paper 1 (BE/BTech) exams in the second session.

Out of the individuals who received a full score, seven are from Andhra Pradesh, seven are from Maharashtra, six from Delhi, and fifteen are from Telangana.

As per NTA, thirty-nine candidates were prohibited from making further attempts for three years as they were found guilty for being involved in malpractices during examination process.

Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu were among the languages in which the exam was conducted.

571 exam centres spread across 319 cities with 22 centres abroad were set up to conduct JEE Mains 2024. Approximately 544 locations in 291 cities, including 21 locations outside of the nation, hosted the initial session.

In every category, the necessary JEE (Main) percentile to qualify for JEE (Advanced) has increased to its highest level in the previous five years. The minimal threshold for the general category has increased from 88.4 in 2022 to 93.2 this year.
