New revelations are kept emerging in the NEET paper leak case with Tejashwi Yadav’s PS Pritam Kumar now being named
Now, a senior official from Bihar has been implicated and the person revealing the name is none other than the Deputy Chief Minister of the State.
For the unfamiliar, the Deputy CM of Bihar, Vijay Sinha on Thursday held a press conference wherein he alleged that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav’s aide, Pritam Kumar, is involved in the paper leak case.

As per statement given by Sinha Pritam Kumar booked a room for an individual implicated in the NEET-UG paper leak scandal.

Here, he was referring to Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, who has been arrested by Bihar police for his alleged involvement in the incident.
While addressing media, Sinha mention that “On May 1, Tejashwi Yadav’s personal secretary, Pritam Kumar, contacted guesthouse worker Pradip Kumar to book a room for Yadavendu.”
He further stated, “Pritam Kumar made another call to Pradip Kumar on May 4 to book the room again, referring to Tejashwi Yadav as ‘mantri’.”

Pradip Kumar, an employee of the Road Construction Department, who was present at the media briefing, corroborated Sinha’s claims, stating that Pritam Kumar had indeed called him on both May 1 and May 4 to book a room for Yadavendu.
Moreover, he mentioned that he asked for a requisition, to which Pritam Kumar responded it would be provided later.
About Pritam Kumar
The 52-year-old Pritam Kumar is an officer in the Bihar Administrative Service. In August 2022, he was appointed as the personal secretary (aide-de-camp) to Tejashwi Yadav and has been working with him since.
Today, Bihar’s Deputy CM has accused him of being involved in the NEET paper leak. Clearly, Pritam Kumar is about to face significant difficulties.
Deputy CM Vijay Sinha stated that preliminary information in the NEET paper leak case indicates a connection between Pritam Kumar and Sikandar, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the leak.
Let us remind you, the NEET-UG exam took place on May 5. Besides Yadavendu, 13 others have been arrested by the Bihar police’s Economic Offences Unit (EOU), including aspiring student Anurag Yadav and his accomplices, Nitish Kumar and Amit Anand.
The Supreme Court is now hearing the case and has directed the NTA and the education ministry to take responsibility if any errors have occurred.
