Age 19 Joy Mei launched her own content house, Asian House after leaving Bop House
After the Bop House members opted to produce content with 17-year-old TikToker Piper Rockelle in late 2024 and early 2025, influencer and content producer Joy Mei decided to leave the Bop House.
The eldest Bop House member, Alina Rose, is 24, while the youngest, Summer Iris, Ava Reyes, and Joy Mei, are all 19.
Julia Filippo and Camilla Araujo, both 22, also reside at the property as well as its founding members, Aishah Sofey, 23, and Sophie Rain, 20.
None of the videos on the Bop House channels named after the slang term “BOP” which stands for “baddie on point,” a Gen Z word used to describe a person who uses their body to make money contain adult content though.

In late February 2025, Joy Mei called them out for hanging around with a child and declared she was leaving the house. A month later, in early March, she launched Asian House, a content house for Asian content providers. Mei’s departure sparked online discussion and responses.

TikTokers allegedly started making comments on Bop House videos around the middle of December 2024, urging them to bring in 17-year-old content creator Piper Rockelle. Bop House shared a humorous spoof video on TikTok on December 17th, making fun of the idea that they were all arrested for bringing age 17 Piper into the house.
With the comment, “dw girls I will bail you out,” Piper Rockelle responded to the skit by posting a video on her TikTok page on December 18th, 2024.
Piper Rockelle began sharing videos of the Bop House on TikTok on February 23, 2025, as if she was filming them there. Notably, there were dancing videos in the program. According to reports, Sophie Rain’s home is where some of the tapes were shot.
19-year-old Joy Mei is well-known on TikTok for her lip syncs, dance videos, and memes. She was born in 2005 in China and stands at a height of 5 feet 2 inches. Music from singers like Lil Wayne and Doja Cat is used in her videos. On her joyy.mei account, she has almost 2 million followers. July 2023 saw the debut of her account.
She has a collection of things like Funko Pop figurines. She can be seen eating a strawberry wrapped in chocolate in one of her most well-liked TikToks. Over a million people have viewed it.
Songs like “Grow a Pear” by Kesha and “Never Lose Me” by Flo Milli may be heard on her TikToks.
