Talking about the new role of Bawri, the creator and maker of the show Asit Kumarr Modi stated, “I wanted a very fresh and innocent face for the character of Bawri and we luckily found what were we looking for. She has promised commitment to show.
“Our show is one of the most loved shows by the viewers, and we need to fulfill their expectations. I am damn sure that viewers will love the character of Bawri, which has been played by Navina Wadekar. She is quite enthusiastic to work with brand Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. TMKOC New Bawri aka Navina Wadekar has finished her bachelor’s in Mass Media from K.J.Somaiya and she was initially looking forward to working in a talent management agency and production house. She stated, ‘Aside from the course I have also attended dancing and many acting workshops. I was fortunate to play an episodic role in one of the serials of Bala telefilms. Thus along with education and deep interests, I want to work in the entertainment industry.’
