The Delhi police is making headlines after the cops arrested a stalker named Amanat alias Armaan Ali who had shot a 16-year-old girl near her home in Sangam Vihar, South Delhi on Thursday, Aug 25, know about Naina Mishra of Cambridge School
As per a statement given by DCP, Benita Mary Jaiker to news agency ANI, Amanat has been arrested along with his 2 associates Bobby and Pawan.

DCP Benita also revealed that, after the incident, the other 2 accused absconded to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh but they eventually nabbed on Aug 26.
As per the statement given by DCP, Ali, who wanted to kill the 16-year-old girl, had gotten all the weapons from his uncle.
According to various reports, there were 2 country-made pistols, 3 live and one empty cartridge seized from the possession of Ali and his associates.
The Delhi Police has registered a case against the all three of them under the sections 307 of IPC i.e, attempt to murder and section 34 of IPC i.e, common intention.
The teen girl was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where she is currently recuperating.
What Exactly Happened?
The incident took place on Aug 25, when a class 11 student of the Cambridge International School that is present on Devli Road, was coming home from school.
The girl reportedly was accompanied by her mother. CCTV footage of the area that surfaced online, showed that the girl and her mother were followed by 3 men on a motorcycle.
When they reached near South Delhi’s Sangam Vihar, B Block, one of them fired a bullet at her and soon after all three of them fled the spot.
As per police statement, Arman Ali, who lived in the neighborhood of the girl, had been continuously stalking and harassing her for the past 4 to 5 months.
According to cops, Ali has confessed that he came in contact with the victim through social media. The duo talked for a while but girl suddenly stopped talking to him some time ago due to which he was angry and had decided to kill her.
He later conspired with his friends Bobby and Pawan to kill her and On Aug 25, when the girl was returning from her school, the trio followed her on a bike. While Ali fired at her before they fled the scene.
At around 3:45 PM on Thursday, the Sangam Vihar Police received a report about a gunshot injury on a teen’s shoulder after which they reached the spot and rushed her to a nearby hospital.
The 16-year-old victim, who is currently being treated in a hospital, told the police that she was in touch with Ali for approximately 2 years through social media.
However, she had stopped talking with him around 6 months ago but the accused would still follow her continuously.
Victim’s father expressed his shock and disbelief that bystanders continued to record the incidents on their phone but no one stepped in to help them as his wife continued to beg for help and his daughter kept crying in pain.
Meanwhile, on Friday, DCW (Delhi Commission for Women) took cognizance and issued a notice to the city police seeking an action taken report on the matter.
