Osborne’s cousin, Mark Stevenson, posted that Cobb came home from a bar intoxicated and claimed the shooting was an accident while cleaning her gun at five in the morning, sparking a lot of discussion on X about the case.
Additionally, Stevenson said that Cobb’s father is a police officer, which raises the possibility of influence being exerted to wrap up the case but this claim has not been confirmed. The debate has been heightened by other X users’ frustrations, some of which allude to racial dynamics and perceived leniency.
Given the personal ties and unverified allegations regarding Cobb’s family, this unexpected community reaction emphasizes the tension and conjecture surrounding the probe.
