The English man who is currently ranked 14 in the WBC world rankings at Welterweight, was born with one arm shorter than the other stands 5’7″ tall. He is the owner of Dunamis Muay Thai gym which is situated in Calgary.
30 year old Peacock, who has a 12-1 record of which 11 victories came via knockout, went to Canada at the age of fifteen after his father moved there. Before developing discipline in Kyokushin karate and participating at the Junior World Championships in Tokyo, he began training in karate at the age of eleven.
At eighteen, the 30-year-old began studying Muay Thai, and he went on to win the super-welterweight title in Northern America and the Canadian welterweight championship. After making the switch to Muay Thai and Kickboxing, Jake obtained more expertise in fighting, training, and coaching.
Following the conclusion of a six-fight deal with the renowned Muay Thai promotion Lion Fight and victory in the Road to ONE tournament, the fighter was awarded a $100,000 contract with the largest martial arts promotion globally, ONE Championship.
Peacock wants to inspire others as he was bullied in childhood, making him what he is today. Jake experienced ongoing bullying and stigmatisation as a boy with one hand. As a result, his parents decided it would be best to enrol him in a martial arts programme to teach him discipline, self-control, and self-defense.
