Tocchet, who is now 61, played for Philadelphia for over ten years in different periods at the beginning and finish of his career and won the Stanley Cup in 2016 and 2017 while serving as Pittsburgh’s assistant.

Tocchet and his ex-wife, Lynne Tocchet, formerly shared a pivotal period in his life. For many years, they were romantically involved. The couple decided to split up in 2001, just after their kid was born but it is unknown why they did so.
They have decided to stay close friends and co-parent with Trevor, a software developer. Both Rick’s son and his ex-wife Lynne joined the coach after he helped the team win the Stanley Cup in 2017 as an assistant coach.

The former spouse of the Vancouver Canucks coach hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has worked as an interior designer for more than 20 years. She created beautiful and aesthetically pleasing settings for her clients while working on numerous residential and commercial projects. From 2021 to 2023, she served as the director of interior design for Pacaso, a San Francisco-based company. with the moment, Lynne is employed with Discovery Land Company RH as the business development leader.
