24 year old Kshama from Gujarat is a private firm employee who is gearing up for her wedding which will take place on the 11th of June. Like several other Indian weddings and brides, Bindu has also opted for a traditional ceremony for herself and many other traditional rituals attached to marriage.
She was born on 12 August 1998 and is from Daman with her having gone to the Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda where she did her bachelor’s in sociology from. A Hindu, her father is an engineer and lives in South Africa while her mother is Sarita Dubey with her having a sister named Swati.
Bindu wants to wear her bridal attire on her big day when she will be marrying herself and wants to don vermilion (Sindhoor) to herself after the ceremony. But the groom is missing from her wedding and as per the reports, she is marrying herself and committing to herself only instead of any man or woman.
“As People marry someone they love, but I love myself and hence this wedding”, stated Bindu.
Kshama Bindu is a resident of Gujarat and she wants to tie the knot with herself in the temple of Gotri, and it’s not all she has also planned a trip for herself as a honeymoon package in Goa after her marriage.

The act of marrying oneself to yourself is often referred to as sologamy, autogamy, or self-marriage. These types of self-marriages are followed in recent years, especially among affluent women. As of now, it is not recognized by the law of any country, since not a social norm. Still, people in the past few years have seen numerous people, few men and women following this path.
Kshama Bindu is the second woman who opted for self-marriage. Before her, there was a woman named Lauta Messi who married herself and did this wearing a beautiful white dress. She invited 70 guests. The wedding was a shock and opener in the eyes of the media and people.
