This week, after video of two fans from Sunday’s Raiders-Patriots game went viral when a Raiders fan was caught on camera screaming at a Patriots fan named Jerry Edmond at the end of the crazy game, Robert Kraft invited him to the Saturday game
People praised the Patriots fan on social media for keeping his cool while the woman seemed to keep bothering him. Afterward, Patriots owner Robert Kraft called Jerry Edmond to personally invite him to this weekend’s home game versus the Bengals. “I just want you to know I think you represented our brand in a very classy way,” Kraft said.
Edmond came to Las Vegas to see his first NFL game, where he reported being harassed by “two people in particular.” He denied yelling at anyone or showing any disrespect, but the woman claimed he was “disrespectful to the stadium” and “talking trash” about Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. As Edmond recounted, his entire response was, “That’s the Derek Carr I know.”
Someone find me this man. I owe him a beer. Entire game this lady was chirping at him for CHEERING for the Patriots in “her” stadium. Absolute shit ending for NE & she’s up in his face. He continued, saying that at some point during the game, the couple moved to sit next to him and harassed him throughout. Their behaviour became increasingly hostile throughout. Chandler Jones scored the game-winning touchdown for the defence.
